Growing Spiritually Through Bible Study

In Bible Study, we delve into sacred scriptures to understand teachings, history, and wisdom.
It enriches our faith and spirituality.

Current Studies

Tuesday
We have a house group that meets at 2.30pm on Tuesdays at the home of one of our members.

We use a set book to underpin our studies of the Old and New Testaments. We have prayer time and refreshments.
Wednesday
Open Book, the Bible Study Group meets every Wednesday at 7.30pm in the Upper Room.

It begins with a time of praise, worship and prayer followed by a time of discussion on a particular chapter of the Bible.
Current Theme
Our study for this set of sessions focuses on the Book of Psalms.

The Psalms give voice to the full range of human experience—joy, sorrow, trust, doubt, praise, and lament. They teach us how to speak honestly to God and how to recognise His presence in every season of life.

Many Christians know favourite verses, yet haven’t explored the depth and richness these ancient songs offer.

Studying the Psalms helps us deepen our relationship with God by shaping our prayers, strengthening our faith, and grounding us in His character.
Current Theme
Our study for this set of sessions centres on The Apostles’ Creed.

This ancient confession has served for centuries as a clear and steady summary of the Christian faith.

Many believers know the words, yet haven’t paused to consider the depth of what they proclaim. The Creed helps us articulate what we believe about God, His work in Christ, and the life we are called to live as His people.

By exploring it together, we strengthen our understanding of the faith and deepen our confidence in the truths that unite Christians across time and tradition.
